Till now, TRW Automotive has six plants in china. TRW Automotive Components Shanghai Co., Ltd., (TACS) which was founded in October,2002 and located in Shanghai International Auto City, is a wholly owned Plant by TRW Automotive. Our current business operation includes: producing and assembling electrical powered hydraulic steering systems for chassis、actuation、 and airbag ECU electronic. We also sell our products and provide after-sale service in the mean time.

Furthermore, a new expanded TRW Automotive Components(Shanghai)Co.,Ltd will replace our exiting plant of 4000m2 with a new 20,000m2 unit. This new facility will form the footprint for TRW’s continued Electronic and Steering growth within china, the construction of which represents a further commitment by TRW of some $30 million within the Anting Area.

With the fast growing of TACS, we are introducing other electronic products and will develop ourselves into one of the largest manufacturers in Asia Pacific. 目前TRW在中国共有6个工厂，2个办事处，其中，位于上海国际汽车城的天合汽车零部件（上海）有限公司是TRW(天合)汽车集团在中国上海于2002年10月新成立的独资工厂，公司目前的主要业务为： 生产、组装汽车底盘电子动力转向系统、汽车制动器，汽车安全气囊电子控制模块，销售本公司自产产品并提供售后服务。

此外，天合汽车零部件（上海）有限公司将新建厂房，面积从原来的4000平方米扩展到2万平方米。新厂为天合在中国继续发展电子和转向产品奠定了坚实的基础。新厂的建设也使天合在安亭地区追加投资3000万美金。
